The Sabbath

About a year ago I heard this women speak on NPR and was really loved what she had to say about the Sabbath. It was re-broadcast today (I only heard it because I had to run away from work to feed myself mid-morning) and I really wanted to share it.

The idea that the Sabbath is a day of rest for reasons beyond religion is so compelling to me. AND this woman is a secular Jew, like I always wanted to be, so she gets my attention and respect immediately.

You should listen or read, she has a really insightful approach.

Since our baby growing news is now very public, I have removed the "by invite only" from my other blog.

You don't need to read it. It is really more of a journal to chronicle the alien changes I see and feel happening to me and the rest of my family unit.
