We have had the Young family in town for a few days as they transition from their lives in China to their new lives in Tokyo. As much as I love seeing them, I feel like it is a cruel tease and makes me a little teary, even as I type.
Sydney is funny, curious, fast and a bit of a monster. I really like him. Heather and I took him to the dinosaur museum and he really enjoyed shooting all of the dinosaurs with the umbrella. Boys are weird.
This was such a sweet moment last night when E took Sydney to look at the fountains which of course led to running through them. Getting a kid wet in the middle of February, that is not your own, is kinda funny. And that is why no one asks us to babysit...

Sydney, who has seemed a bit indifferent to E in the past, now has an insatiable crush on "E-wat" and would not let go of him the rest of the night.
Every time Sydney leaves I am afraid he is going to forget who we are. At some point we are going to become those people who live in the computer. I don't like it one bit.
Adrian is pregnant and will deliver her little girl in June. Who wants to help me start a campaign to move them home? I just cannot bare the thought of this newest little person living so far away and not knowing her, or her us. It seems a great injustice.
