I have tried to be careful and discerning when making comments or posting info on the
World Wide Web
but yesterday I had a little slip.
I had a small "incident" of web stalking when I posted a comment on a
design blog about one of my clients.
Within 3 minutes of posting the comment,
I had an email from said client acknowledging what I had written on the blog.
Lucky for me, it was mostly positive feedback.
Unlucky for me, it made me fully aware that I cannot be anonymous
and that makes me very uneasy.
One of the few mottoes I have been able to live by is that I never want to have anything to hide. Its too much work.
Although I do not feel I need to hide from the people who indirectly pay my mortgage,
I do want to keep my work and social buckets separate and yesterday the splashing water in the buckets mixed a little too close for comfort.
What does this mean? I am going private.
